Folding Electric Bicycle with Peak 1100W Motor 48V 13AH 624WH Removable Battery Step Over / Thru E-Bike

We had been looking at foldable e-bikes for the past year or so. My wife has knee problems and we wanted to ride together. Just purchased the Narrak Step-Thru S-129 in red and it has ticked all of the boxes for us. It is powerful (750 watt motor), 13Ah battery for longer riding, has 5 levels of pedal assist as well as (twist) throttle control, wide tires for road and gravel, front and rear fenders, large display (with backlight that can be turned on/off), LED headlight and taillight (can be turned on/off at the display), front and rear cable disk brakes, Shimano 7 speed shifter. It comes standard with all of these features. The bike is well made of sturdy aluminum.

We received the bike in a box. It was partially assembled. We installed the front tire and fender, pedals, handle bars, rear view mirror and mounted the display. Then made minor adjustments to fit. We also adjusted the angle of the seat relative to the seat post (this was for comfort). Very good detailed instructions with pictures of the steps. It comes with all the tools that are needed (wrenches for the wheel and pedals an Allen key for the display mount. From unboxing, assembling, adjusting and then riding was less than an hour. The battery was already charged.

We have been on 2 rides totaling 23 miles. Since the battery is reading just over 1/2 full, it has not needed to be charged We are very pleased with the efficiency and power of the bike. There is a special bonus: when the bike is folded up, it easily fits in the trunk of my 2015 Toyota Corolla!! We are very pleased with this purchase. We definitely recommend this bike. For the power, components, convenience and foldability you'd spend twice as much in another brand. As we continue to ride and enjoy it - more updates to come.

It's a great bike, however it takes awhile to break the breaks in and it has a slow break, it almost takes me about 20-50ft to stop depending on my speed as well as how quick I stop it. It's not an automatic break. If you plan getting a different seat it seems you'll need a different seat rod. It's perfect for my height 5'3 I just didn't realize how big this bike was so not really ideal for apartment dwellers if your by yourself trying to get it upstairs. I really enjoy and love this bike don't get me wrong. My bike won't go into the 2nd or 1st gear for some reason and it stays on 3. When I do put it into those gears it makes a lot of clanking noises and refuses to pedal, which is fine with me I use full throttle anyway since its my first time riding any type of bike. I'll just ease into 3rd pedal overtime. I've also noticed that it's kind of hard to pedal, my friend also noticed that when he was helping me learn it, his bike was far easier to pedal. Wasn't comfortable for my height though. I enjoy the twist throttle on it because it's simple and easy, the horn is my favorite because it's very loud but awesome at the same time, and it was very easy to put together. Love the speed and love the motor noises very nice. I do love the bike.

You can see I added a back rack bag, basket, and some of my own stickers. The red color is beautiful, but found it chipped fairly easy when i removed the wheels to add tire liners for flat prevention. But, as a nice touch they include a small bottle of touch up paint that took care of that. I advise that it is a good idea to watch some YouTube videos on how to change an ebike rear tire as it can be confusing if you don't know how. Also, when removing the rear wheel I took pictures and labeled each bolt, washer, and position as I removed it. It was easy to assembly out of the box with most things already together. Everything has worked perfectly, and I really appreciate that the manual is very helpful even including all the "P" settings to remove the default limit of 22 mph to max. I found it will do the 28 mph as indicated and have hit 32 on a downgrade. I wanted an extra battery as back up or if I want to take a long ride to carry it on the rack. I've only gone a longer ride of 13 miles so far due to the cold weather, but would estimate that around 25 miles on a charge is reasonable using mostly throttle with sime PAS. I contacted Narrak ebike and they were really helpful in getting me the correct battery for this ebike. The batteries on their website are 2 pin batteries, but as you can see in the picture mine takes a 3 pin battery. The people at Narrak had me email them a picture of my bike and battery to insure they sent me the correct battery. I received the correct one. Real nice they provide 4 keys for each battery!

Fresh out of box. No problem. Okay, Here is 3 months later into observing this bike. Yes I ran into a serious problem. My wife and I finally got together and she now use to riding this bike. She no longer afraid and she emphasized how much she likes it (A dream come true). My hard earn cash has paid off UNTIL suddenly I cannot charge it. The charger green stays on on every plug in. I live in mountain hill of West Virginia and my worse case scenario kick in. So I was fortunate to have the seller number and explained to him my problem. He's a China guy that mean he doesn't speak English very well. However he knew exactly my problem and sent via text a blue print instruction to open the battery top and replace the battery fuse that's comes with the package. AND what do know, it Worked!!! I was soo grateful and told him I love him for it. You just don't fine a sincere and caring guy like this seller. Thank you again...

Bike arrived a few days early. Packed very well. After the bike was put in the box they blew liquid foam that hardened around the bike so it was well protected.
It was easy to assemble. Actually, all I had to do was put the handlebar stem in the frame & tighten. I checked the wheel nuts for tightness and they were very tight from the factory. The fenders and the wheels and the brakes were all in alignment so I did not have to make any adjustments. I checked the tires and they were already filled to specs, so did not have to mess with that.
I upgraded the seat, but the one that came with it was perfectly fine.
The. LED display is easy to read and easy to use. Just press the mode button and the display goes thru all the features of the bike. Odometer, trip odometer, time used, etc.
I was worried I would not like the pedal assist modes but I was blown away at how they work. Really neat.
You have the option of pedal assist 1 which takes the bike to 8mph.. Push the up button to got to pedal assist 2 which stays at a constant 12mph. PA 3 takes me 19mph.
You can set the pedal assist to start as soon as you start to pedal. I went with another option which means I have to pedal 3 complete revolutions to begin the pedal assist. I'm an old fart, 86, so it is a little safer for me to get on the bike and start pedaling myself before pedal assist kicks in. Once you stop pedaling, the pedal assist shuts down. Great safety feature. However, there is a throttle you twist for variable speeds, so you can go any speed you want. The throttle overrides the pedal assist.
Also, you can go into settings and change the factory setting speed of 19mph to run the max which I think is 29mph. But at my age, I left it where it is.
I only have 25 miles on the bike so far but I am very happy with it so far.
Also has a neat headlight and taillight which gets brighter when you apply the brakes.
There is really nothing not to like about this bike. I feel safe and steady when I ride it.
I added a rear carrier to keep my phone, owners manual and tools, plus a Gatorade and a bottle of water.
At 25 miles so far, the battery is still more than 50% (about 70% power left probably) as you can see in the photo. I have been using PA 2 at 12mph and helping with the pedaling. Probably 50% pedal assist and 50% full electric power.
I am glad I made this purchase. Reasonable price as well. I read all the positive review before I made the purchase and that is the main reason I bought this one.

I feel about this bike the same way PeeWee Herman felt about his! This comes with all bells and whistles to make for an exciting ride! And with a few add ons ( basket, lock, alarm, handlebar side mirrors, vanity plate, carrier) I am having FUN! Very easy to assemble, except for adjusting the brakes! My first ride was brakeless and white knuckled so I took it to my local cycle shop for a complete 2nd look to ensure ALL was operational! Price comparing THIS NARRAK to other ebikes is a ganga deal for all that you get and it is sturdy! Only wish I had paid the current price which is lower than the one I paid apprx one week earlier!!!
Update: The brakes do squeak when heated. The seat is not comfy for me. Would I trade in my baby? No way!!! I can ride this baby. I can't pedal it due to several knee surgeries, but it gets me out of the house for fresh air! Without pedaling I can go about 22mph and can easily do 10-12 miles in about 30 minutes! It gives me ALMOST the same joy as when I was still riding my motorcycle! My motorcycle I could sell but NOT my Narrak!!

I own multiple e-bikes for over 5 years, have to say I am really impressed with this e-bike. First of all the price was unbeatable for what was offered.
$950 is a giveaway, same exact models of step through e-bikes selling for $300-400 more.
Bike was packaged really well, and 95% assembled, just had to put on front wheel and handlebars.
The paint job is unbelievable, it is a beauty.
I was super impressed with build quality and welds pattern on a frame.
It is foldable and fully adjustable, I am 6'5 and it fits me perfectly as well as my 10-year-old daughter.
500 w rear hub motor has more than enough power, was able to go top speed 28 MPH. 48v battery is a game changer!
It has a decent front suspension fork, very comfortable seat, built-in front headlight, horn, tail light and actual working brake light, which is unbelievable, so when you press break levers the brake light actually goes on, this is an amazing safety feature!
Also bike came with rear view mirror.
I never heard of this company but nowadays anyone can buy 100 bikes from China and put on their name on it but the bike looks amazing, the quality is great and has so many features that other bikes do not have and cost $400 more!
If you see this bike on sale, grab it, you will not be sorry

Love my bike soo much!! Only thing I wish was different is the height . It says 5��2�� riders but I��m 5��2�� and it��s too high. I still ride it but it��s not easy getting started or getting off. Going to let my husband have this one and will have to find one for my size.

48 volt battery and 1100 watt peak motor, top speed for me was 30.2 mph throttle only, 20�� folding bike, arrived almost completely assembled & charged up, front & rear lights, seat ok, electric horn, brakes are mechanical but work ok, so far has been dependable, and Narrak known for good customer service. I own two Narrak e-bikes.
Price good for what you get.

I have always wanted a fat tire bike! I have some balance issues, but I feel extremely balanced on this bike. It's a smooth ride and the battery is still full after several hours of riding it during a long weekend. The bike is heavy though! And assembly was a little difficult. However, easy to use and to fold. Just heavy to pick-up and load. I'm impressed with the speed of the bike. Even at a 2 setting, I felt like I was flying! I did use this briefly on a highway as well and the brakes are fantastic! In addition, it has a very sturdy kickstand. My only minor complaint about this bike is the back seat is sloped and can only hold about 50 lbs. I can't see a small child riding on this without falling off! So, if you are looking to add a tiny rider, I do not recommend this bike. I will update this review as I continue my adventure. Compared to other e-bikes, this is affordable!

This bike is amazing I love it it is fun to ride but since I am a senior that is a little off balance I think I need a three-wheeler this bike has amazing power and a great value for the money I was very impressed about how well this bike is made

I've been riding this bike for about 2 months. I'm 77 years old and mainly ride it around my 55+ community. LOVE IT !
I have over 120 miles on it already. Plenty of power for the uphills making riding easy. So far i've only charged the battery 2 times. Contacted customer support once for a minor issue. I was quickly connected to a very qualified technician who easily answered my questions.

Love this bike, and the fact that it folds is a big plus. Much easier for me to ride. I have bad knees and this is perfect for me to put my feet down without worrying about tipping over or hurting my knees. I would recommend this to any senior out there looking at ebikes.

My wife and I bought a couple of these and they're fantastic. It's incredibly easy to assemble, easy to handle, and it's very fun! The fat tires make it easy to ride on pretty much any terrain and it's pretty compact when folded up. It's also feature rich and allows you to tweak the top speed, pedal assist functions, as well as many other things. Personally I've found that I prefer the pedal assist off at all times and chose to enable just the throttle. So it functions as a normal 7-speed pedal bike and I'll use the throttle when it's really time to go! I highly recommend this bike!

I love this bike. I am 77 and the last time I rode a bike was in 1967. I had never ridden an electric bike until now. The seat is very comfortable. It rides smooth. It is very stable. My husband and I took bikes on a camping trip and it made the trip so much more fun. I am very very happy with the bike. I��m glad I bought white because it is easy to see on the road which makes me feel safer. Very happy with purchase!

I hae another electric bike, which is nice. But doesn't fold up. This bike has wider tires and rides smoother. But both bikes operate about the same speed. Also, this bike is well buit. They batteries on both bikes last a long time. This bike was an excellent price, especialy for a fold up bike. My other electric bike cost a lot more. So, to me its was well worth the price. The kick stand on this bike is better too. Both bikes pedal assist. you can pedal without using the battery or use it to climb hills.
