Assembly and Manuals

Assembly & First Ride — You've Got This

Most buyers worry: "I'm not handy — can I really assemble a 100+ lb trike?" Yes. Every Narrak arrives ~95% pre-assembled. Average time: 30–60 minutes. This page walks you through what to expect per model.

Before you start: Open the box, inventory parts against the packing list, and don't discard cardboard until your first successful ride. Two people recommended for S180 and N8 (~110–124 lb). Call (626) 328-6000 if hardware doesn't match your model.

Universal first-time checklist (all models)

  1. Charge battery fully (4–6 hours) while assembling
  2. Install handlebars — align straight, tighten to spec
  3. Install pedals (left pedal threads counter-clockwise)
  4. Attach front wheel if shipped separately; verify quick-release or axle nuts
  5. Adjust seat height — leg almost extended at bottom of pedal stroke
  6. Check all three tire pressures (manual lists PSI)
  7. Test brakes before first ride — spin wheels, squeeze levers
  8. Power on display, confirm PAS levels respond
  9. First ride: PAS 1, flat empty parking lot, 10 minutes

N8 Assembly (~45–60 min, 2 people recommended)

Senior flagship. Take extra time on seat + backrest + anti-tip wheels.

  1. Verify anti-tip wheel hardware tight
  2. Adjust semi-recumbent seat rail and backrest before first ride
  3. Test triple hydraulic brakes + parking brake on gentle slope
  4. Butterfly handlebar angle — wrists relaxed, not elevated

Senior tip: First week, ride 10 minutes daily adjusting seat — small changes matter for back comfort.
