Which Narrak trike should I buy?

What is rear differential — do I need it?
A differential lets each rear wheel spin at different speeds in corners, reducing scrub and tip-feeling. All four Narrak models include it. Especially helpful for neighborhood turns and senior riders.
Is Narrak UL certified?
N6, S180, and N8 are UL2849 whole-system certified. Batteries across models meet UL2271. N3 has UL2271 battery; check the product page for the latest system certification details.
N3 vs N6 — is the upgrade worth it?
For most buyers, yes. N6 adds 48V power (1100W peak vs 700W), UL2849, 20 MPH top speed, and a wider seat with backrest. N3 is best for tight budgets and shorter flat rides.
N8 vs S180 — both fold. Which one?
N8 if semi-recumbent comfort, anti-tip wheels, and senior stability are #1. S180 if full suspension and trail/campground comfort are #1.
What class is my Narrak e-trike?
Narrak e-trikes are designed for Class 2-style use (throttle + pedal assist, typically up to 20 MPH depending on model). Local rules vary — always check your city/state traffic laws and wear a helmet.

Where do you ship? How long does delivery take?
Free shipping to all 48 contiguous US states from our Los Angeles, CA warehouse via FedEx Ground.
- Order before 2:00 PM PST (Mon–Fri) → same-day processing
- E-trike transit: typically 3–5 business days after ship
- We do not ship to AK, HI, or US territories

Is financing available?
At checkout, eligible buyers may see Shop Pay Installments, Klarna, or Affirm depending on cart total and approval. See our Financing page for estimates.
Will I pay sales tax?
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and state rules.
Can I change my address or cancel after ordering?
Call (626) 328-6000 or email info@narrakebike.com immediately. If the order has not left the warehouse, we can usually update or cancel free of charge. After ship, address changes may incur carrier fees ($20 / $150 depending on status) — see Shipping Policy.
What is the 30-day trial?
You have a 30-day return window from delivery. Contact us for RMA approval before shipping anything back. A return label is provided when applicable; non-defective bike/trike returns may include a 15% restocking fee. Details: Return & Refund Policy.

Warranty, returns, first-ride safety, battery care, and support.
What’s covered by the 1-year warranty?
Manufacturing defects on frame, motor, battery/BMS, controller, display, charger, and factory-installed mechanical parts under normal use. Battery coverage: 1 year or 70% capacity, whichever comes first.
Not covered: normal wear (tires, brake pads, chains), accidents, water submersion, modifications. Full terms: Warranty Policy.
How do I file a warranty or shipping-damage claim?
Email info@narrakebike.com or call (626) 328-6000 with:
- Order number + model + color
- Photo/video of the issue
- Proof of purchase
- For shipping damage: report within 7 days of delivery
We typically reply within 10 business days on warranty reviews.
Can I ride in the rain?
Light rain / road spray is generally OK (models are water-resistant, e.g. IPX5 on several SKUs). Avoid heavy downpours, pressure washing, and submerging the battery or connectors. Dry contacts after wet rides.
How do I maximize battery life?
- Store indoors, cool and dry
- Use only the included Narrak charger
- Don’t leave on the charger indefinitely
- For storage over weeks: keep roughly mid-charge and top up periodically
PAS vs throttle — what should seniors use?
Start with PAS level 1–2 on flat ground for predictable assist. Use throttle for starts or hills once comfortable. Practice wide, slow turns in an empty lot first.
How do I return a trike?
Contact support within the 30-day window for an RMA. We’ll send return instructions. Don’t discard original packaging if possible. See Return & Refund Policy.
Manuals & Assembly

How hard is assembly?
All models ship about 95% pre-assembled. Typical time: 30–90 minutes. You’ll usually attach handlebars/pedals and adjust the seat. S180/N8 are heavier (~110–124 lb) — a second person helps.

First-ride checklist (especially for seniors)
- Charge the battery fully (first charge often 4–6 hours)
- Inflate all three tires to the sidewall PSI
- Test front and rear brakes in the driveway
- Start PAS level 1 on flat ground
- Practice slow, wide turns — feel the differential
- N8: set backrest; use parking brake on slopes
Display won’t turn on after assembly
Check: battery seated and locked, power switch on, charge level, display connector plugged firmly. Many displays need a specific button hold (often the M button for a few seconds). Still dead after a full charge? Call support with order # and model.
I’m shorter / taller — seat won’t fit
Contact us with your height and model. We often ship a shorter/longer seat post when available. Do not force-clamp beyond the minimum insertion line marked on the post.
Troubleshooting
Quick fixes before you open a ticket.
Motor cuts out while riding
Common causes: low battery, loose battery/connector, or thermal protection after a long climb. Stop, cool 10 minutes, reseat the battery, check charge %. If it repeats on a full battery, film a short video and contact support.
Brakes feel weak
N3/N6 (mechanical discs): cables often need a small adjustment after bedding-in. S180/N8 (hydraulic): contact support — don’t open brake lines yourself.
Trike pulls to one side
Equalize tire pressure on all three wheels; confirm axle nuts are tight. Test on a flat lot — crowned roads cause pull. Still pulls? Send photos of tires/wheels to support.
Clicking from the rear axle when turning
Some riders notice a click on sharp right/left turns as the differential works. If noise is loud, grinding, or accompanied by play in the wheel, stop riding and contact us with a video. Mild clicks that fade after break-in are sometimes reported as normal.
Range is shorter than expected
Range drops with hills, cold weather, high PAS/throttle use, heavier riders, and low tire pressure. Use PAS 1–2 for max range; inflate tires; avoid full-throttle starts. Claims on product pages assume favorable conditions.

Can I buy a replacement battery / display / charger?
Yes for many parts — contact support with your exact model + color + order number. We’ll confirm compatibility before you purchase. Using non-approved chargers voids battery warranty.
Do baskets and mirrors come in the box?
Most current promo orders include rear basket and mirrors as free gifts — confirm on your product page / order confirmation. Front baskets are model/config dependent.
